This time of year, most Bluegrass Bands are working on their show for the upcoming season and finalizing contracts, and we are doing just that. So far, we are planning on jamming at SPBGMA in Nashville at the end of January, more jamming at Jam Val in Framingham, MA in February, playing the Killingly Grange in March, East Hartford Cultural Center in April and also the Parish Center for Arts in Westford, MA, Blistered Fingers in Maine in June, Podunk in Goshen, CT in August. We're working on some fairs, and hopefully can make it back to Nick-A-Nees in Providence and Lily P's in Cambridge, MA. Ask your favorite venue to give us a call!
In 2024, we were able to be joined by Silas Powell on mandolin for four trips here, and we also had other special guests including dobro player extraordinaire, Roger Williams, and young Redmond Day on mandolin. It sure is fun to have them! Thanks go out to our fill-ins, Peter Faulkner on bass, Tom Daily and Joe Lemeris on banjo. We played 23 shows and had a record number of private events. We sure hope this year we can play in your backyard!
