Mom here is so proud of Simon Brogie and Keegan Day, earning 1st PLACE BANJO and 1st PLACE FLAT PICKING GUITAR, respectively, at the 46th 2022 Roxbury, CT Pickin' & Fiddlin' Contest this past weekend.
Tom Bowman and I couldn't be there so the Hosmer Mt. Boys didn't enter the band competition. But, the boys still did quite well! And thanks to family and friends, Mom here was able to listen in and get real-time updates throughout the day.
Simon also placed 3rd in mandolin and Keegan placed 2nd in finger picking guitar and played in his 12 year old brother's band which placed 3rd.

What a day! It is such a special event that I went to most every year as a kid. If you've never been, I hope you'll have a chance to enjoy this event next year.
